MNCPD Registry Specialist

The Registry, Inc. is seeking a highly qualified individual to work as a Data Entry & Customer Service Specialist (Registry Specialist) for the Minnesota Center for Professional Development. The candidate must possess strong organizational skills, experience following policies and procedures, and high level customer service skills.
Job Description:
Entering data in accurate manner.
Processing documentation in a timely manner.
Providing high quality customer support.
Other tasks as assigned.
Education and Experience required: High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of one year of professional experience in a similar position. Experience in the early learning and school-age field preferred, but not required.
Skills and Abilities required: This position requires a high level of ability to successfully manage and complete multiple assignments and priorities with limited supervision; ability to establish effective working relationships with personnel at all levels; attention to details, initiative; resourcefulness; poise; tact; sound judgment; and physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position.
Bilingual skills preferred (Spanish, Somali, Hmong), but not required for this position.

Customer Service:
o Answers phone in knowledgeable and professional manner
o Responds to clients requests in a professional and prompt manner
o Monitors that phones are answered/routed to appropriate person during business hours
Computer skills
o Performs data entry tasks
o Ability to use ACCESS, Microsoft Word and Office, Internet
o Manipulate data bases
Organizational skills
o Gives input on systems needs/modification
o Helps maintain equitable workload among clerical staff

Follow and implement policies and procedures
Work with other staff members as a team to accomplish MNCPD/ The Registry goals
Attend staff meetings
Accept additional responsibilities as assigned by Director of Operations
Note: MNCPD’s headquarters are located in Madison, WI. Relocation is required.
