In the aspiration to strengthen the foundation and well-being of Hmong people, HNO must focus on educational achievement, cultural and historical preservation, socio-economic opportunities and prosperity, community development, and civic engagement.
Acknowledging that Hmong people are scattered throughout the world, we hereby establish the Hmong Nationalities Organization, Inc. under the United States Internal Revenue Code section 501(C)(3) to promote our people’s shared identity, common heritage, and best interests. As citizens of global societies and nations, we determine to develop and advance ourselves, our culture, progress, and prosperity through access, opportunities, equality, justice, and freedom.
Founded in 2011 by the Committee on Hmong Relations, Hmong Nationalities Organization (HNO) serves as a leading entity to Hmong and the general public on issues and policies related to Hmong cultural adaptation, educational advancement, socio-economic development, civic engagements, and community well-being.
